At UCI, we can provide our clients with hydrographic surveys for a variety of needs such as pre and post dredge surveys, pipeline routes, pipeline and cable trenches, pipeline and cable cover, bridge scour and more.

We utilize a Differential Global Positioning System (DGPS) with interfaced hydrographic software to accurately survey your site.  All DGPS positioning is available with sub-meter accuracy.  Depth readings are obtained by the use of an echo sounder.  Echo sounders are available in varying frequencies to compensate for depth of water and bottom type. We can also provide you with sub-bottom profiling.  All information is downloaded to a computer and available in a variety of formats for a professional quality data presentation.  When you need precise accuracy with repeatable results, call us.

We also perform underwater  searches by using side scan sonar, multi-beam sonar, gradiometers or magnetometers.  If your goal is to locate an object that's underwater or map the sea floor around a structure, we have the equipment and the manpower.  We can accurately locate and plot everything from pipelines to submerged vessels.  Our technician is a Geophysical and Oceanographic Engineer with world class experience on such well known projects as TWA Flight 800, Egypt Air 990, the location of downed military aircraft throughout the world and various treasure salvage projects.  Underwater recovery can be assisted by either divers or our ROV.  We welcome the opportunity to discuss your needs and provide you with a solution.
